It started with cautious curiosity.
Like many people, my first encounter with AI felt equal parts fascinating and uncertain. The technology was everywhere, the conversation was loud, and the learning curve felt steep. I approached it the way you might approach a tea you've never tried — with genuine interest, but careful not to burn yourself.
That caution didn't last long. The more I explored, the more I realized that AI wasn't something to be intimidated by. It was a tool — a remarkable, endlessly adaptable one — and once I understood how it worked, I couldn't stop thinking about what it could do in the right hands.
"Curiosity, given enough time and the right conditions, has a way of becoming passion."
ChAICodes grew out of that transformation: the realization that the gap between ordinary people and powerful technology was mostly a matter of access, language, and a little patient guidance.
Helping everyday people find their blend.
Every great cup of tea starts with understanding what the person across the table actually needs — not what you assume they want, not what's most impressive, but what genuinely helps. That's the philosophy behind everything at ChAICodes.
My goal has never been to dazzle people with technology. It's been to demystify it. To sit down with someone who's skeptical, or overwhelmed, or just curious, and help them discover what AI can do for their life — not in the abstract, but practically, usefully, and on their own terms.
Whether that means building a custom application, walking through how to get the most out of AI tools, or simply having an open conversation about what's possible — the work begins with listening.
Projects rooted in real life.
The work I do at ChAICodes isn't disconnected from who I am. It's an extension of it. My projects reflect the communities, responsibilities, and passions that shape my everyday life — and that give this work its meaning.
Pharmacy Career
Years in clinical pharmacy inform every health-adjacent project — from formulary review tools to clinical decision support automation — with rigor, care, and patient-first thinking.
Parenthood
Being a parent means thinking constantly about how children learn, grow, and engage with the world. It's the driving force behind educational tools like the Social Skills Explorer and Interactive Math Tools.
Community Service
Service isn't an afterthought — it's a foundation. Projects like the Cantonese School governance support reflect a deep commitment to the organizations and communities I'm honored to be part of.
